Matt Reynolds, Chief Editor, Packaging World
Mr. Reynolds has been with PMMI since 2014 and began serving as Editor of Packaging World in 2018. A veteran of the packaging media industry, his career includes editorial roles at Baking Management, Modern Baking, and a stint as Editorial Director of OEM Magazine.
JoAnne Berkenkamp, Managing Director, MBOLD
As the Managing Director of MBOLD, Ms. Berkenkamp leads a coalition of Minnesota-based food and agriculture businesses and innovators collaborating to address sustainability and climate issues in the food and agriculture sectors. Her work on the circular economy initiative for flexible film recycling earned her a nomination for SPC’s 2022 Innovator award as well as a cover story in the November 2022 issue of Packaging World.
David Chmura, Sr R&D Manager - General Mills
Mr. Chmura leads packaging strategy and development for General Mills’ Snacks Operating Unit, including bars, fruit snacks, and salty snacks as well as sustainability efforts. An industry veteran of over 22 years with experience in plastics and Food CPG, he has worked at General Mills for 17 years in R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain.
Andrew Pieterse, CEO - Myplas
After spending 15 years with energy titan BP, Mr. Pieterse joined MyPlas as US CEO in 2021. His experience with manufacturing, supply chain, financial management and logistics have positioned him to lead MyPlas’ expansion efforts in their quest for environmental stewardship and sustainable change.
Apurva Shah, Director of Strategic Partnerships - Charter Next Generation
Mr. Shah brings a wealth of professional experience in the films and flexible packaging industry, including several sales & marketing roles with Dow Chemical as well as a packaging consulting role with London-based L.E.K before joining CNG. He leads the evaluation of new technologies, innovative business models, and strategic partnerships in furtherance of CNG’s mission to become the most sustainable material supplier in the packaging industry. He also sits on the board of MyPlas and advises their efforts to build a state-of-the-art recycling facility in the greater Minneapolis area.
