FPA's 2010 Annual Meeting

The 2010 FPA Annual Meeting will combine great networking events for FPA members with industry-focused education sessions. Annual Meeting speakers include:

			Andrew Sorkin -The New York Times’ chief mergers and acquisitions reporter and author of Too Big to Fail: How Wall Street and Washington Fought to Save the Financial System — and Themselves. The Economist calls Too Big To Fail “too good to put down….It is the story of the actors in the most extraordinary financial spectacle in 80 years, and it is told brilliantly.” And The Financial Times’ John Gapper calls Too Big to Fail an “astonishing narrative of the epic financial crisis of 2008.” Andrew is the recipient of a Gerald Loeb Award, the highest honor in business journalism.

			Chunka Mui – a business consultant and best-selling author of Billion-Dollar Lessons, What You Can Learn from the Most Inexcusable Business Failures of the Last 25 Years. The Wall Street Journal calls Billion-Dollar Lessons “an insightful and crisply written book, one that offers wisely chosen and well-narrated case studies but also good advice.” Inc. Magazine called it one of the best books for business owners, and CIO Insight named it one of the top 10 business technology books of 2008.

			Tim Wilson – packaging development manager for Meijer, who will discuss “Buying Trends” from the Retailers Perspective. Tim will examine how retailers are taking control of their private label packaging and share his perspective on new business opportunities for packaging suppliers.

	FPA members and guests will also hear from: Thomas Blaige, chairperson and CEO, Blaige & Company, who will discuss global packaging mergers and acquisitions Nick Vafiadis of CMAI who will provide an Update on Flexible Packaging Materials Cost and Availability John Baumann, president and CEO, Ampac Packaging, LLC and incoming FPA chairperson, who will preview the 2010 FPA State of the Flexible Packaging Industry Report Stefan Glimm, FPE executive director, who will discuss the European flexible packaging industry

The 2010 FPA Annual Meeting will also include great networking opportunities among industry leaders and peers during these Annual Meeting events!

Suggested Dress:
For all general sessions, the Wednesday night dinner and the Thursday evening reception, the attire is resort casual. The attire for the Friday night reception and dinner is business or business casual, not black tie.
