The SPE Flexible Packaging Division has been presenting FlexPackCon since 2000. In 2023, the Montreal location reached maximum capacity of almost 200 attendees. The event blends fundamentals with applied experience to address emerging issues and opportunities in packaging. For instance, the use of fluoropolymers in flexible packaging was a key topic in 2023 with speakers and panel discussions reviewing the current state of the art in processing aids and non-halogen alternatives. Processing and sustainability continue to be key drivers for the industry, including regulatory and technology advances.

FlexPackCon 2025 will showcase exhibitors with table-top displays and discussions. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Tuesday will feature tutorials followed by a welcome reception. Wednesday morning will begin two days of presentations. Wednesday evening will host a student poster contest.
